Technical VP

We have offices in San Francisco, London, Berlin, and Stockholm and are investing out of our seventh fund of €500m. 1 in 6 companies we back become billion-dollar companies.

We're looking for an exceptional Technical VP to join Creandum's global investment team. In practice, this means:

• Diligence. Conduct detailed analysis of business plans, markets and competitors, enabling Partners to quickly evaluate investment opportunities without overlooking any details.

• Sourcing. Build and own a pipeline of opportunities — identifying the most interesting founders at the earliest possible stages. Act as an ambassador for the firm and build our brand across the ecosystem.

• Founder experience. Be a crucial part of the investment journey — from first meeting through deal close — and ensure that our service level toward entrepreneurs is always exceptional.

• Builder. When not working on investments you have a bias to build and help improve how we as a team diligence, source, and serve our founders alongside Filip (Prev Product @ Passionfroot), Simon (GP), and our COO.

• Take point on deals from first meeting through close — owning the process, diligence, and the founder relationship end-to-end.

• Produce top-tier analysis that partners trust to make decisions. Deep dives on markets, business models, and technology — no gaps, no errors.

• Independently prioritise communication and processes on behalf of senior team members across internal and external workflows.

• Technical. You have shipped production software or trained and deployed models – at a frontier lab, an AI startup, or on your own. You may know how to code - or know how to build and orchestrate coding agents and the underlying technologies of AI. You grasp technical concepts quickly. You can read a repo and a paper and form a view on whether a team's edge is real. Agent harnesses, post-training open-weight models, inference economics, memory architectures: you have opinions, and you've tested them.

• Personality. Proactive, outgoing, self-motivated and genuinely fun to work with. You're eager to learn, humble, and integrate easily into new settings.

• Analytical. "Zero defect" is your motto. Incredible eye for detail with holistic business understanding. You synthesise large volumes of information into the 2–3 conclusions that matter, and back qualitative judgement with quantitative analysis.

• Communication. Sharp and composed under pressure. Confident with stakeholders at all levels. Professionalism shines through.

• Mindset. Extreme ownership and exceptional organisational ability. Service mentality — entrepreneurs are treated with the utmost respect while you run a smooth process.
